Sony has revealed its lineup of free games under PlayStation Plus for October 2016 and this month’s list includes Resident Evil HD Remaster and Transformers: Devastation among others.

Resident Evil HD Remaster was released last year and while there isn’t new content in the game, the game is effectively a visually updated version of Capcom’s classic survival horror game Resident Evil packing 1080p visuals, widescreen support, and a new control scheme.

Transformers: Devastation on the other hand is a hack-and-slash action game featuring an original storyline giving you five playable Autobot characters using whom you will have to battle it out against the Decepticons and Insecticons to save earth from Megatron’s evil plans. The game has been developed by Bayonetta series creator Platinum Games.

The other games that make it to the October 2016 PlayStation Plus free games list are Ubisoft’s From Dust for PlayStation 3 and Actual Sunlight for the PS Vita. From Dust, a terrain-shifting simulation game from Another World creator Eric Chahi. PlayStation 3 owners will also be able to download for free Mad Riders, which is a motocross racing game helmed by Dead Island series developer Techland.

Apart from Actual Sunlight, PS Vita owners will also be able to download and play Code: Realize – Guardian of Rebirth, which is a title from Idea Factory and Aksys Games.

All the above listed games will be available as free downloads throughout the month of October and will be available from next week – October 4 to be precise.
